It's hard to believe it's already April. Winter was Yuck, too cold, too much snow,ice and rain. On the positive note winter really makes you appreciate the nice weather. We didn't have too much happen since Christmas. Kyle's still deciding on a colleges. The whole family went to visit Kate and Andrew in February that was a lot of fun. Kate's counting down days now to be done with school. We are praising God she just got a nurse tech job in the ER. This hospital is the one she would love to work for when she finishes her degree. They are very excited.
Rich turned 50 in March. I had alot of fun planning a surprise party for him. I invited just family and his special friend Al Smith. What a blast we had feather bowling. It's hard to believe we are 50 already. The days just go so quickly,having a grand baby now really makes me see the full picture. Seeing our Moms with Elizabeth is so precious. It's amazing how a new life can bring so much JOY to your family. Elizabeth was dedicated in March. It brought our family together to celebrate, as we vow to teach, to stand by Kevin and Angela as helpers as this little one grows, may we be godly examples to her.
April we decided to take Kyle to New York City for his senior year trip. We saw many awesome things the Statue of Liberty was huge. All the sky scrapers were huge.We also really enjoyed the boardway plays. What a big place. The three of us had a great time together. Now we start planning for Kyle's Graduation next month.
Our annual blueberry picking was a great success. Rich and picked 15lbs. Kevin, Angela and Elizabeth picked 20lbs. There was plenty of berries and there were some that were as big as grapes. Elizabeth enjoyed eating and was very good with our two hour picking fest.
We got to get away to Virginia.We really have enjoyed our time share over the years. Seeing many different states has been lots of fun. Virginia is very pretty . I like the mountains and hiking. We both liked just a time to relax and thats pretty what we did.
Family get together at Kevin's for dinner and homemade peanut butter cake. Angela put trick candles on. Afterward we all played croquet . Happy Birthday Kevin.
